Dr. Jeffrey Bell

Dr. Bell earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas in 1993 and then his DDS degree in 1997 from The University of Tennessee College of Dentistry.  He practiced general dentistry from 1997 to 2005. He developed a passion for endodontics and in 2006 he became an assistant professor at The University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in the undergraduate endodontic clinic.  He completed specialty training in 2009 earning a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from Boston University.  In 2019 he earned Board Certification from the American Board of Endodontics.  This certification requires the commitment to sit for a Written and an Oral Examination plus assembling a series of completed patient treatment documents for a Case History Portfolio Examination.  In 2017 the Journal of Endodontics published a study that reported only 23% of endodontists were board certified.  Dr. Bell enjoys playing guitar, cooking, golf, and spending time with his family.
